Seifert's Progressive Series of enclosure air conditioners provide reliable cooling for indoor and outdoor applications. Cooling capacities range from 1,000 BTU/hr to 21,170 BTU/hr. Operating temperature range for the Progressive Series is -40°F to 140°F. All air conditioners in the Progressive Series meet UL Type 12, 4, 3R and 4X requirements. They are sealed against incursion of dust and water to the IP56 standard. The units can be configured for 120 V, 230 V, or 480 V — single or 3-phase power. The 21,170 BTU/hr unit has the smallest footprint in the industry.

These air conditioners and heat exchangers are designed for 19-inch industrial racks in cabinets for IT, telecom and other applications. Electronic components installed in 19-inch cabinet racks are typically designed for ambient temperatures of a maximum of 50°C (~120°F). Even a reduction of the cabinet temperature by only 10 degrees can lead to double the life span of the power electronics.
