Enclosure Air Conditioners

SoliTherm is Seifert System’s line of six air conditioner series and accessories for virtually any enclosure cooling application. The air conditioner series are: Progressive, SlimLine, SlimLine Vario, Top Mount and 19 in Rack Mount.

The SoliTherm line covers indoor and outdoor applications as well as external and recessed mounting, top mounting, rack and tight space applications. Our wide variety of air conditioners provide cooling capacities from 1,000 BTU/Hr to over 21,000 BTU/Hr, depending on the series. Each series has characteristics that can make a particular one best-suited for your application.

Progressive Series > UL Types 12, 4, 3R and 4X

Seifert's Progressive Series of enclosure air conditioners provide reliable cooling for indoor and outdoor applications. Cooling capacities range from 1,000 BTU/hr to 21,170 BTU/hr. Operating temperature range for the Progressive Series is -40°F to 140°F. All air conditioners in the Progressive Series meet UL Type 12, 4, 3R and 4X requirements. They are sealed against incursion of dust and water to the IP56 standard. The units can be configured for 120 V, 230 V, or 480 V — single or 3-phase power. The 21,170 BTU/hr unit has the smallest footprint in the industry.

SlimLine Vario Series > UL Type 12

These ultra-compact and lightweight air conditioners are specially designed for small enclosures with limited mounting area, external or recessed mounted into flat housing operator or part of a 19-inch rack with only 3U unit height. They can be used both in outdoor and indoor applications.

SlimLine Series > UL Type 12

SlimLine air conditioners are truly filterless and operate with close to zero maintenance. They are eco-friendly and do not need dirt collecting filter media. The optimized wide-ribbed aluminum condenser provides improved cooling performance and ensures reliability in industrial operations. High quality components ensure smooth operation and long working life of SlimLine enclosure air conditioners.

Cooling capacities are available from 1,090 up to 5,120 BTU/hr. The units can be externally or recessed mounted and are only 4.5 inches deep. The SlimLine Series are the slimmest air conditioners on the market.

Our top-mount enclosure air conditioners offer maximum cooling power with minimum space requirements. For applications where recessed or external mounting is not an option, these filter-less air conditioners provide reliable cooling even under extreme industrial conditions.

Cooling Solutions for 19-in. Racks >

These air conditioners and heat exchangers are designed for 19-inch industrial racks in cabinets for IT, telecom and other applications. Electronic components installed in 19-inch cabinet racks are typically designed for ambient temperatures of a maximum of 50°C (~120°F). Even a reduction of the cabinet temperature by only 10 degrees can lead to double the life span of the power electronics.

A/C Accessories >

Specifically designed accessories for our cooling units allow these units to be used universally. By adding, for example, a Cover Kit made of stainless steel 304 (V2A) to your existing or new SlimLine cooling unit, these units will now pass the strict NEMA 4X rating. The cooling unit is now suitable for operating in the food processing industry and in outdoor applications where requirements like hose water and ingress protection are necessary.
